Green's Entrepreneurs Network
Don’t worry, you don’t need all the ideas, Green and others in our network will help. Success is a function of good execution. Read a recent New York Magazine article “Bubble Boys” about the new businesses entrepreneurs are forming in Silicon Valley.
One new “Mark Zuckerberg” in the making said people needing jobs are the ones “who haven’t figured [their own business] out yet.” Most of these exciting young tech entrepreneurs say ideas aren’t the key — plenty of people have great ideas. The key is execution and being first to market.
Green has plenty of new business ideas to share with our members in the network and we will discuss them during upcoming conference calls and Webinars. Green needs a network of entrepreneurs to help execute some of these ideas.
It’s best to use trial and error with ideas. It can sound great on the drawing board, but it might not take hold in the market. Once the marketplace embraces an idea, customers and business partners can help you tweak and improve the idea further. Next, it’s all about good execution and having some luck too. The harder you work, the luckier you get.
Green Energy Entrepreneurial Opportunities:
Green energy is a growth industry, although it faces start-up challenges. Democrats favor it, and President Obama considers it to be an excellent growth industry for America’s future. Green energy melds innovations in technology, adds more energy jobs in America, reduces foreign oil imports and improves the environment by lowering greenhouse gases.
Congress lavished many lucrative tax breaks subsidies and loan guarantees on green energy industries. Some of those subsidies are expiring soon and the White House also faces media scrutiny over loan guarantees given in a rushed manner to Solyndra, a solar panel company now facing bankruptcy and loss of taxpayer’s funds. But, there are positive green energy news stories too. Like Google Green’s recent 280 million investment in rooftop solar panels on residential houses.
Robert Green recommended his version of green energy tax-advantaged active investing ideas a few years ago. See the Green Energy Active Investor section on the greencompany.com website, which will be moved to this site soon.
